You should take the tram (or trolley, rather :p) to Port Melbourne which is just on the outskirts of the city and see the bay area. There are cafes and restaurants in Port Melbourne and St Kilda, along the beach.

Geepers those snow flakes looked good. i'm on an island near the Gulf of Mexico and it's 104 today. You look like you're having a ball. So glad your new endeavor is succeeding so well.
